Tantra is a Life Philosophy.
A life philosophy, which harmonises the body, the mind and the spirit in such way, that our relationship with the world around us becomes functional, enjoyable and also the key to the phenomenon we call happiness.

Tantra in it’s completeness, also gives attention to one of the most powerful forces known to man, Human Sexuality. As Tantra handles this subject with the greatest freedom and elegance, this particular part of the philosophy left the greatest impression on those Western discoverers who later brought the concept back with them from the East. This is how Tantra became exclusively (but simplistically) connected with sexuality in Europe and in North America. However this is understandable in our sexually repressed and confused society.

Keeping the above in mind and to satisfy the phenomenal interest in matters of sexuality, Tantric Teachings predominantly concerns itself with this subject.

Sex is a sacred act and ancient philosophy that humans living in modern day society are very confused about.
As children, we are fed with information and images that paint the "art of love making" with colors that are dark, dull and shadowy; like a secret forbidden society that dwells behind locked doors with the keys thrown away. Ironically, it is that part of our being that we most fear, and so we most fear are authentic power. Sexuality is very much a part of who we are, how we present ourselves in the world, what we do, and how we think of ourselves. Our adequacy and our self-esteem are tied up in our sexuality. Once we connect with and understand that powerful transforming energy it frees the earthiness and wildness within each of us. When this clandestine world is uncovered it transcends the mind, liberates the soul, heals our bodies, and sends the spirit dancing ecstatically on the moon.”
